Higher Ground
Continuing Care

There are two Continuing Care outpatient groups. An outpatient Continuing Care individual counselling programme and a residential Continuing Care programme.

Many residents attend the Higher Ground Continuing Care programmes because they take place in a familiar environment, are taken by familiar staff and are presented in a unique Higher Ground format.

Staff Commitment:

The staff members conducting the programmes maximise these advantages.

On discharge from the Higher Ground residential programme a resident becomes eligible for participation in a Continuing Care group and individual counselling programmes for a maximum period of 14 weeks.

On completion of the 14 weeks the resident can apply for an extension through the Continuing Care Counsellor.
